  5. Transform my bedroom from a gigantic dirty clothes hamper into a beautifully appointed, Pinterest-worthy retreat despite the super-wonky layout.
  6. Redesign my blog.
  7. Sing in public.
  8. Attend one concert a month for 12 months.
  9. See a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater.
  10. Adopt a dachshund. I think Bailey counted as a large doxie.
  11. Be in an art show.
  12. Attend the Newport Folk Festival.
  13. Establish a Sunday Night Social at my house. House concerts are close enough
  14. Get a tattoo.
  15. Make a gingerbread house with my kids.
  16. Have a pint with Glen Hansard. I would like to highlight that THIS HAPPENED and was completely surreal/awesome. 
  17. Take the kids into one of those caves behind a waterfall.
  18. Buy a hammock and rock the day away.
  19. Attend Mom 2.0 Summit.
  20. Pierce my eyebrow. I ended up piercing my nose and kept it for a couple of years.
  21. Help someone else accomplish a life list goal.

  23. Watch the sun set/rise at the White Sands National Monument.
  24. Eat beignets and sip hot chicory at Cafe Du Monde.
  25. Learn how to drive a standard (not automatic) car.
  26. Highway 1/101 road trip.

  28. Build a better shoe wardrobe, including the holy grail: tall boots that fit me.
  29. Bike across the Golden Gate Bridge.
  30. Find my life’s work.
  31. Present a talk at IgniteOKC. I did one at PechaKucha and another at Creative Mornings. 
  32. Make 100 confections. I have made and sold over 1,000 lbs of toffee. It counts.
  33. Put my feet in an ocean once a year for 5 years. Ocean Beach, 9/12; San Diego 10/13; Rhode Island 7/14; Ocean Beach 1/15; I forget where this happened in 2016, but it did.
  34. Discover 3 favorite cocktails that I can order at any bar or event. It turns out, I don’t really enjoy cocktails that are at any/every bar. But if I am at a even slightly nerdier bar I can order a French 75, Bees Knees or just get a fucking glass of delicious red wine, which is what I want anyway. 
  35. Take the kids to Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. I took the kids (and our German exchange student) on a 10ish day road trip through New Mexico in 2017.
